Guest speaker BM Craig Robinson, a veteran of the US Navy, who was on site the day after the Beirut bombing, will be sharing a message this year. The 1983 Beirut barracks bombings were attacks that occurred on October 23, 1983, in Beirut, Lebanon. During the Lebanese Civil War, two truck bombs struck separate buildings housing a Multinational Force of Lebanon (MNF) peacekeepers, specifically against United States and French service members. This attack killed 241 U.S. and 58 French peacekeepers.
