The Day of Infamy. "Cy" Simmons served on the USS Oklahoma at Pearl Harbor, was on the USS Baldwin at Normandy and finished the war in the Pacific. He saw the war from its first day to its last!
 
December 7th, 1941 Donald Rombalski gave his life on the USS Arizona. He still rests with his Brothers in Arms on the Arizona. He was one of the war's first American casualties.
 
During WW2, women became more active in the factories but also the Services. We have a whole section devoted to the women who served during WW2.

Stan Price survived the Bataan Death March, Camp Cabanatuan, the Hell Ships and served underground in a Japanese copper mine for two years. Stan beat the odds and even went on to serve in Korea!
